English Synopsis:
The first campus love story based in the Joseon Dynasty, Sungkyunkwan Scandal is a vibrant and delicious romance revolving around the loves and lives of four young people. A fusion sageuk like hit drama Hong Gil Dong, it is set in the famous Sungkyunkwan university, a 500-year-old, venerated establishment that exists to this day. Micky Yoochun of top K-pop group TVXQ takes the lead in this drama based on a series of novels, while Park Min Young (Princess Ja Myung Go, Unstoppable High Kick), Song Joong Ki (Will It Snow at Christmas? and Triple), and Yoo Ah In (The Man Who Can't Get Married, Strongest Chil Woo) round out the cast.
Kim Yoon Hee (Park Min Young) is a brilliant young woman at a time that women are not allowed to attend university. Supporting her family by doing odd jobs at a bookstore, she grows increasingly desperate as her family is in a great deal of debt. When her younger brother gets sick, she winds up entering Sungkyunkwan University through a series of events, disguised as a boy. If her true gender is discovered, she'll be beheaded, but Yoon Hee is desperate to find a way to pay for her brother's care. There, she falls in with the brilliant, unbending son of the Prime Minister, Lee Sun Joon (Micky Yoochun). Goo Yong Ha (Song Joong Ki), a wealthy playboy, and street ruffian Moon Jae Shin (Yoo Ah In) also befriend her. What with all-male roommates, having three male friends who may or may not discover her secret, and a Minister of War who wants her as his concubine, Yoon Hee will have to keep her wits about her in the bustling world of Korea's most prestigious university!
Drama yang mengambil setting era Jooseon. Dimana Kim Yoon Hee seorang gadis miskin yang harus menafkahi keluarganya dengan menjadi penulis.Namun karena pada masa itu seorang gadis dilarang belajar maka dia selalu melakukan pekerjaannya dengan menyamar menjadi laki-laki dengan meminjam identitas adik laki-lakinya, Kim Yoon Shik. Namun suatu hari dia terjebak untuk mengikuti ujian masuk sekolah Sungkyunkwan, padahal awalnya dia hanya berniat menggantikan ujian orang lain demi bayaran yang tinggi.Di sekolah ini nantinya dia bertemu dengan Lee Song Jun yang baik namun sangat keras kepala memegang prinsip 'ikuti semua peraturan'nya, Go Yoong Ha si playboy dan tahu segalanya (paling tidak dia menganggap dirinya tahu semua rahasia di Sungkyunkwan ;p), serta Moon Jae Shin si pemberontak. Dimulailah kehidupan sekolah yang penuh kelucuan,ketegangan, dan juga penuh pembelajaran bagi Kim Yoon Shik (a.k.a Kim Yoon Hee) yang sebelumnya sama sekali belum pernah merasakan suasana sekolah.

Yap yap this drama made me totally crazy >.< its story is mix from Boy Over Flower, You are Beautiful, HanaKimi. All the character of this drama are strong enough (at least for me) that makes me love all of them (even Ha In Soo who totally show his bad attitude and Dean of Sungkyunkwan Choi Shin Mok with his leacher attitude and also his funny comical acting). Well you can say this is my favorite drama during this season.
